The 11-day Manaslu Larke Pass trek, also known as the Manaslu Circuit Trek, is one of Nepal's most picturesque and culturally diverse treks in the Himalayas. It circles Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the world's eighth-highest peak, offering a diverse range of stunning mountain scenery and genuine cultural experiences. The trail climbs past terraced fields, lush subtropical forests, and traditional settlements of Namrung, Lho, Samagaun, and Samdo. This trek begins at Machha Khola, along the Budhi Gandaki Valley. The landscape changes from thick pine and rhododendron forests to rocky alpine meadows and glacier-filled valleys as hikers ascend to higher elevations. Crossing the Larke La Pass (5,160 m), a breathtaking viewpoint providing expansive views of Manaslu, Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Annapurna II, and Ganesh Himal, at the glace of the high point.A high biodiversity, including mammal and bird species such as the Himalayan Monal, Snow Pigeon, and Golden Eagle, as well as the Himalayan Thar, musk deer, blue sheep, and snow leopard, can be found in the Manaslu Conservation Area. The vegetation changes with elevation, featuring mid-altitude oak, pine, and rhododendron forests, as well as juniper and alpine grasses near the pass, and lower-altitude sal and bamboo forests. On the route, you could see many other amazing places where you could explore the Rupina La pass and the Birendra Lake. The Larke La Pass trek is steeped in centuries-old Himalayan heritage, which is reflected in the Tibetan-influenced religion and customs of the Gurung, Nubri, and Tsum groups, as well as their monasteries, mani walls, and chortens. We complete our adventure trek to Dhara pani, a classic route of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. From Dharapani, we drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara as you wish.
